Currently Anna is a Center director at Virginia Tech and engages in work dedicated to promoting a safe, equitable and supportive environment for all who live, learn and work at the university. Anna particularly enjoys opportunities to engage with students and is dedicated to student development and success. It is this love of engaging with students that leads her Optimum Ed, where she can devote her time and enthusiasm to supporting students and their families as they navigate college and career selection/application processes.

Anna is married to Eric, who is a public high school history teacher, and is mom to Will (a junior and student-athlete at Hampden-Sydney College) and Maggie (a sophomore and student-leader at her high school). In our free time, we enjoy traveling to HSC football games, simple home improvement projects, family vacations, and spoiling our feline fur-babies, Luna and Humboldt.
