Business Development Representative
Job Description: Business Development Representative. Individual is high-energy, articulate, positive and passionate who is interested in helping students find satisfying careers that maximize the return on their investment in higher education.
Prior relationships and/or experience selling products in the education industry a plus but by no means required.
Our sales people are a key and valued part of the organization and the opportunity exists to play a significant role as we build a national franchise. Our sales people are responsible for developing the majority of their own leads but will receive significant support and strategic guidance from the company and an active email, online advertising and direct mail campaign.

Develop qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email and networking.
Be able to engage potential clients in meaningful conversations about their student’s career and education goals
Learn and internalize the OptimumEd sales presentation and technical information and share effectively with potential clients.
Demonstrate engaging presentation skills and be able to walk clients through our various packages and service offerings.
Establish rapport with clients, close sales, and follow up on new client referrals.
Adhere to the highest standards of ethics and work to maintain the outstanding reputation of the organization.
